In 2011, the Crescent Vale network was in our second year of media production. During the year, we were able to cover the Tall Tree Lake Music Festival in Goreville, Illinois. A special evening of live acoustic music at the Varsity Theatre in downtown Carbondale, as well as other local events in Southern Illinois.

Carbondale Unofficial Halloween 2011

Carbondale, Ill is known for having infamous Halloween celebrations in the past. During recent years, students have started to party early in order to enjoy the annual holiday. It has now become a tradition on its own. The city of Carbondale now faces the problem of taking on the new tradition, or decide to work with the old tradition that help put the city on the map.
