The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Achieve an Important Win in Federal Court

The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe has picked up support in federal court following a ruling last Wednesday by Federal Judge James Boasberg. Boasberg has been reviewing materials behind Energy Transfer Partners, and has ruled in favor of looking at additional regulation for the Dakota Access Pipeline. TheStreet's coverage on Energy Transfer shows that the company behind the Dakota Access Pipeline 'has spilled hazardous liquids near water crossings more than twice as frequently as any other pipeline company in the country this decade.'
