Amazon Launches Their Largest Wind Farm in West Texas

Amazon has announced plans to open their largest wind farm in Scurry County, Texas. This progressive step forward mirrors the companies ability to adapt, and react to the demands of an evolving world. Amazon plans the Texas Wind Farm will generate 1,000,000 megawatt hours (MWh) of wind energy annually. That clean energy would help power 90,000 homes. "We're excited to work with the community in Scurry County and Lincoln Clean Energy to generate 1,000,000 MWh of renewable energy each year from West Texas," said Kara Hurst, director of sustainability, Amazon.
