Widespread Panic Takes the Shryock Auditorium
Athens-based, Widespread Panic returns to Carbondale, Illinois on October 1. The band had originally booked the SIUC Arena, but has recently decided to pack the house at the Shryock Auditorium instead. This will be the third time the band has played at SIUC since 2000.
The band has a history with Carbondale, Illinois and their live music archives. Widespread Panic decided to release and feature Carbondale in their first live record with their own audio production team. Over the past 13 years the population in Southern Illinois has declined, but the love for WSP still runs as deep as the love for the local music scene.
