The 2015 VMA’s hosted by MTV will celebrate the best music videos from the past year, as well as feature some of the hottest talent in live music.


Today, MTV announced that Kanye West will be honored with the “Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award,” for his career-spanning groundbreaking videos, legendary VMA performances, and continued impact on music, art, fashion, and culture.

In addition, they have also announced the performers for the event including: Pharrell, Macklemore + Ryan Lewis, Demi Lovato, A$AP Rocky, Twenty One Pilots, Tori Kelly and The Weeknd.

The live broadcast will be held this Sunday, August 30 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
