The Blue Sky Winery was opened in 2005. Ten years later the winery continues to produce some of the best wine in Southern Illinois, and one of the most relaxing environments in the area.

The winery was open to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 3. They have performances on the weekends that generates larger audiences.

Blue Sky features a wine of the month. August showcases Vignoles, a dry white wine with grapefruit overtones.

Southern Illinois provides over 40 wineries to choose from overall. The soil conditions create the opportunity for wine growers to share their product with local, national and international communities.
