Big Gigantic, a Colorado-based musical duo, have dedicated a large section of their lives to perfecting their craft.

As music fans nationwide gear up for Big Gigantic’s annual sold out event at Red Rocks Amphitheater, the band and crew have put together a stunning short documentary covering their impressive rise in the music industry. Friday tickets are currently available at: ticket link.

Dream Big is the title to their documentary that runs just shy of 20 minutes in length. After covering film festivals, I would love to see musicians work more with film and cinema to give additional layers of depth to their content.

Last year, we were able to cover a night of Rowdytown 3. It was a highlight of the year to witness the collaborations, guest spots and energy on stage. The Motet performed last year with Big Gigantic, and by their rehearsals together, it looks like they will be teaming up once again this year.

“I met Dom through the Motet guys, and we played together, and then became friends after that. A lot of where Big G came from was experimenting in the basement when we lived together.”  – Jeremy Salken

The recent regulations of the sound at Red Rocks is one element that is up in the air regarding Big Gigantic. After making a second home at the historic venue, this could mark the last year Big Gigantic hosts Rowdytown at Red Rocks Amphitheater. If they are brought back, I could see the venue requesting less bass heavy openers.

It will be a special weekend of live music outside of Denver at one of the most beautiful amphitheaters in the world. Grab some popcorn, materialize your plans in life, and enjoy Dream Big with Big Gigantic.
