Bernie Sanders is acquiring financial and political support moving into the start of 2016.
The Iowa Primary, is the first day of primary voting for the presidential election. This year it will be held on Monday, February 1. Iowa residents will be heading to ballet boxes and polling locations to cast their vote for the candidate they feel most qualified for the position.

Each voter comes to their own conclusions on the candidates.
An issue that has come to light during this election cycle is the funding behind each campaign.
Both political parties have been funded by organizations for decades, but this presidential election has made it a platform for several candidates. Donald Trump continues to claim that he self-made, but The New York Times reported last October that majority of his campaign spending in the second half of 2015 was generated from “unsolicited contributions.”
Listen in to a recent discussion with NPR on campaign contributions for the 2016 Presidential Election.
Watch a video from July 2015 covering the current state of the campaign by PBS NewsHour. Take a look back just a few months to see that Hillary held a commanding lead with $47 million to Sanders with $15 million.
Fast forward to 2016, The New York Times reports that Sanders has collected $73 million in donations compared to Clinton with over $112 million in campaign support.
These millions of dollars go into a variety of platforms to connect with the voters within different generations. A large portion of these funds go into advertising and making appearances around the country.
One element that this presidential election has also brought back to the mainstream is removing the plastic wrapping of advertising within politics, making the politicians dig deeper into the problems that our nation faces right now, and debate their solution to a political savvy audience.
Voters on social media continue to demand stronger debates, and thought-out platforms from candidates on topics to tackle and resolve world issues.

We will not accept a political system which is increasingly corrupt and which allows billionaires to buy elections.

Let me be clear: We don’t have a super PAC. We don’t want a super PAC. And we don’t NEED a super PAC. This is a people’s campaign.
