Late Night with Break Science & Vulfpeck on Friday + Goldfish & Fools of Funk on Saturday
Lettuce, Purple Hat Productions, and Live for Live Music have teamed up together to host Fool’s Paradise in St. Augustine, Florida on April 1-2.
Each year since the early 1700s April 1 has been known as April Fool’s Day. It is a holiday to perform particle jokes on good friends. In the spirit of sharing creative fun with good friends, Lettuce is teaming up with GRiZ for their first collaboration project on stage at Fool’s Paradise.
The festival recently announced that Cory Henry, keyboardist for Snarky Puppy, as an artist-at-large. Additionally, Marvel Years, Brasstacks, Herd of Watts, The Groove Orient, Morning Fatty and Love Chunk.
Fool’s Paradise will host a live set with Chris Robinson’s Soul Revue featuring: George Porter Jr. (The Meters), Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk), Nikki Glaspie (The Nth Power), Eric Krasno (Lettuce/Soulive), Neal Casal (Chris Robinson Brotherhood) & The Shady Horns.
The festival organizers have tapped into the spontaneous environment that a music festival creates. With Lettuce hosting the event, it helps push the musicians to new limits and soundscapes in a live setting.
