Taylor Swift is set to open the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards® with a pop. Her album, 1989 picked up 7 nominations total. She will be featured with a set of amazing live performances including:
- Justin Bieber performs with Skrillex and Diplo.
- Luke Bryan, John Legend, Demi Lovato and Meghan Trainor will honor Lionel Ritchie.
- Lady Gaga will pay tribute to David Bowie.
- The Eagles’ Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, Timothy B. Schmit and Joe Walsh honors Glenn Frey with Jackson Browne.
In a press release from The GRAMMYs, Evan Greene, Chief Marketing Officer for The Recording Academy, gives his thoughts on the multiscreen broadcast that The GRAMMYs are taking once again in 2016.
“The GRAMMYs was the first awards show to offer fans live streaming companion content,” said Evan Greene, Chief Marketing Officer for The Recording Academy. “Now in our seventh year of producing GRAMMY Live, we continue to listen to what fans want, and offer exclusive access for the ultimate engagement experience.”
