'Broken People' New Record Out on October 14

Muddy Magnolias, recording artists recently based out of Atlanta, GA and Nashville, TN, have scheduled the release of the debut record Broken People out October 14. The two core musicians, Jessy Wilson is originally from Brooklyn, and the Kallie North was born in Texas. They met in 2013, and have blown away audiences with their enticing energy.

Broken People, is produced by Rick Beato with assistance from Mario Marchetti and Butch Walker. The group teamed together to bring out the soulful expression in the music.

The album’s last song, ‘Leave It To The Sky,’ features special guest John Legend on piano and vocals.

The two musicians have continued to enrich the live music scene for the past few years with their soulful, southern rock. Recently, they announced that they will be joining Grace Potter for seven dates across the United States.

“The first day we wrote together, there wasn’t much thought that we were blending genres and worlds. That never came up. It was just natural. Ultimately, this album is a result of an unlikely friendship and is a testament to what can happen when you diversify your relationships.”- Kallie North & Jessy Wilson

Guests will be able to possibly preview some of the new tracks from their upcoming album Broken People. It will also be a treat to get to see Grace Potter and Muddy Magnolias in the same night. Both live acts bring high energy at points during their set, and can own an audience with a soft, relaxing acoustic track.
