Janet Jackson, Pearl Jam, Steppenwolf, Chaka Khan, Depeche Mode and More Acts on the 2017 Ballot

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2017 has just released their nominees for the incoming class of 2017. HBO will once again broadcast the induction ceremony from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in April 2017.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2017 offers an interactive fan vote via their main website for music lovers to support their favorite acts.

  • Electric Light Orchestra
  • J. Geils Band
  • Jane’s Addiction
  • Janet Jackson
  • Joan Baez

  • Pearl Jam
  • Steppenwolf
  • The Cars
  • The Zombies
  • Tupac Shakur
  • Yes

This marks the first year being nominated for Pearl Jam and Tupac Shakur. The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame requires that bands to have had released their first album or single over twenty five years ago.

Voting is capped at one ballot per day for the fan vote.

The actual selection team that will vote on the next inductees is made of up 800 industry professionals.
