2016 Marks the Fourth Year for Suwannee Hulaween with More Memories on Deck
Suwannee Hulaween 2016 has just released a custom schedule for guests to map out their four days at Suwannee Music Park.
The festival is set to host thousands of concert goers with The String Cheese Incident, Disclosure and My Morning Jacket headlining the event. Hulaween will be hosting three primary stages on Thursday, along with five stages Friday-Sunday, and two disco stages overall.
Umphrey’s McGee will be performing three total sets during the weekend. They will be performing two sets to kickoff Suwannee Hulaween 2016 on Thursday. EOTO is performing before them, and if we get a guest spot on Thursday from Umphrey’s, I could see Jason or Michael joining the band on stage.
It would also be interesting to see Umphrey’s invite up a section of The Werks for a 2-3 song encore.
A majority of my recommendations takes hours of rehearsal and pre-planning between the musicians. They are simply recommendations.
On Friday the entertainment gets moving in full swing with The String Cheese Incident, Gramatik, My Morning Jacket and many more diverse acts. After catching Gramatik’s 2015 Bonnaroo set around midnight, I am looking forward to his set at Suwannee Hulaween 2016.
Late Friday evening the festival will host a bluegrass style superjam. Look for members of String Cheese to be mixing it up with Greensky Bluegrass, Larry Keel and Drew Emmitt. Hopefully Karl Denson will join in with his iconic saxophone.
Saturday marks a full day of live music with 36 live sets being performed in 18 hours.
Recently, Florida has seen Hurricane Matthew destroy sections of the southeast. They will need our support to get back on their feet. Currently the Weather Channel is reporting stable conditions moving into mid to late October.
