Electric Forest, Insominac and Madison House presents the 2017 lineup featuring The String Cheese Incident, ODESZA, Bassnectar, My Morning Jacket, Big Gigantic, Lotus and a stacked electronic mix of live music set to overtake Rothbury, Michigan.

Over 80 live acts have been announced. Music acts include: DJ Snake, Thievery Corporation, RL Grime, Claude VonStroke, A-Trak, Above & Beyond, Nero. International touring acts are set to perfom with Bob Moses, Lettuce, The Infamous Stringdusters, and many more joining the 2017 lineup.

The first weekend of music wil take place on June 22 – 25 with ODESZA returning the festival following their massive 2015 set. After seeing The String Cheese Incident for 15 years, I find their decision of performing two nights to be wise. There are diehard cheese fans out there that could watch them non-stop, but for an average fan, I see that them performing twice still gives the people a lot of live music, as well as providing an opporunity to another band to step up as a headliner.

ODESZA and Bassnectar both hold a strong following of younger fans. It is special to see so many diverse acts performing over two weekends.

Weekend two will be held on June 29 – July 2. DJ Snake will take on one of the headlining positions, along with another headliner that is to be announced.

Lotus will be performing during both weekends. Their live performances continue to evolve over time.

Another act that is currently set for Weekend 2 is the Thievery Corporation. Producers and DJs will be turning it up with RL Grime, Claude VonStroke and A-Trak.
