Mountain Jam 2017 has just announced their initial lineup with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers headlining the event along with The Steve Miller Band.

The festival is set to return to Hunter, New York in the Catskill Mountains June 16 – 18. This marks the thirteenth annual Mountain Jam Music Festival.

Additional acts include: Gary Clark Jr., Peter Frampton, Michael Franti and Spearhead, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, The Strumbellas, Shovels and Rope, The Revivalists, The Infamous Stringdusters, White Denim, Elephant Revival, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, River Whyless with more artists to be announced.

The festival is making it interesting for pre-sale tickets by having people sign up for a newsletter to receive an email tomorrow, November 15, at 10:00 a.m. EST with details.

Mountain Jam partners with Townsquare Media Group and Chet-5 Festivals in association with Woodstock, NY’s legendary independent radio station, Radio Woodstock 100.1 (WDST) to help manage and host the festivities.

Along with other people commenting on social media, I also thought that Gov’t Mule was more of a staple to this music festival. It appears that they still support the festival, but don’t play at it every year. Stay connected to the festival’s social media for updates.
