AmericanFest Holds 215+ Live Performances at 14 Venues Across Nashville

The 18th Annual Americana Music Festival & Conference took place September 12-17. Music from the event was broadcasted last night on ACL TV. In spirit with the event, this article takes a look back at the action that went down in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bob Weir was awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Americana Music Awards in Nashville. He used the opportunity to pay tribute to Merle Haggard with the song ‘Mama Tried’ by he tapping into the grit and gumption from Haggard.
