Raw Oyster Cult is set to Perform with Darcy Malone and Special Guests
New Orleans is a boilerplate for live entertainment with Mardi Gras taking place, followed by Jazz Fest, and tucked in between the two weeks of Jazz Fest, culinary and music advocates can try out the NOLA Crawfish Festival on May 1-3.
This year, the NOLA Crawfish Festival will take place at Central City BBQ on 1201 S Rampart Street in downtown New Orleans.
Music for the three day event includes: Neville Jacobs Ivan Neville, Chris Jacobs, Tony Hall, Brady Blade, Eric Lindell, Good Enough for Good Times (Robert Mercurio, Jeff Raines, Simon Lott, Joe Ashlar), Khris Royal & Dark Matter on day 1.
Day 2 will host music acts: NCF Funk Squad Eric Krasno, Geroge Porter Jr., John Medeski, Terrence Higgins, MVP (John Cleary, Nigel Hall, Tony Hall, Derwin “Big D” Perkins, Raymond Weber), Alvin Youngblood Hart’s Muscle Theory with Luther Dickinson and Boukou Groove.
On Wednesday, May 3 the festival will host: Crawfish Fest All-Stars (George Porter Jr., John “Papa” Gros, June Yamagishi, Terence Higgins, Special Guests), Crawfish Cook-Off with Corey Henry and The Treme Funktet, Raw Oyster Cult Feat. Darcy Malone and Special Guests and Organ Freeman.
