Dan Auerbach, guitarist for the The Black Keys, has released the single ‘Shine on Me’ to his upcoming album Waiting on a Song.

The upcoming album Waiting On A Song is the debut release for Easy Eye Sound, a new record label by Dan Auerbach. The label will feature projects from artists that have been distributed by Auerbach’s longtime-running label Nonesuch Records.

This record had help from legendary John Prine, as well as Duane Eddy.

“Sometimes I feel I created my own Field of Dreams. I built the studio because I knew something was going to happen. I built it to accommodate live musicians playing, and then all of a sudden the best musicians in Nashville show up, and it’s happening.” – Dan Auerbach

In preparation to the new album, the video for ‘Shine on Me’ is directed by Steven Mertens. It combines psychedelic art, and the pure joy that music brings Auerbach.
