“Los Angeles is divine and music is worship.” - Nathan Willett
Cold War Kids recently released LA Divine and performed a release party at the iHeartRadio Theater on April 7 in Los Angeles.
The performance marked one of the first times a Los Angeles live crowd would experience the music outside the studio.
L.A. Divine is the sixth studio album by the Cold War Kids. Once an indie band, this alternative rock group has signed with Capital Records, being one of the big three major record labels connected to Universal, now pushes forward as an established group of musicians.
They debuted new material in front of the hometown Los Angeles crowd on Friday, April 7. The lyrical content to LA Divine mirrors this performance overall.
This summer the band will be performing at festivals across the country, along with top tier venues such as Red Rocks outside of Denver, WaMu Theater in Seattle, and two nights in Chicago at Northerly Island. Full list of tour dates via their main website.
