Northwest Rock comes out of Left Field with Iconic New Music
Portugal. The Man has released their eighth studio titled Woodstock today on Atlantic Records. The Alaskan natives also have roots in Portland, and continue to innovate within the alternative rock music scene.
This album marks their first time with a number one hit on Billboard Adult Alternative Rock chart. John Hill and Mike D helped with production on the album.
Woodstock contains ten tracks that all provide depth to the band’s musical catalog. The band’s current lineup has found a groove that emits through listeners. On the first track, Richie Havens & Son Little add vocals and grit to the album.
The song ‘Easy Tiger’ captures the energy and essence from the current inception of Portugal. The Man. Kyle O’Quin, keyboardist in Portugal. The Man, adds beautiful layers of texture to the track. Additional guests on this album include:
