A Year of Defiant Music

The year of 2017 has been filled with chart-topping hits and misses. Throughout the year artists released expressions of work that mirrored the state of the world around them.

Each year we go through and select a group of ten albums that grabbed our attention the most. Overall we look for creativity, strength, storytelling, and originality.

This year we saw several creative projects that could not all be added to the list, but we support artists that dare to express themselves.
