Take Control of the Ads on Google Search

Earlier today Google rolled out a new update that allows users to block certain unwanted ads.

When users search the Web, there is times when annoying ads pop up and create a poor user experience.

Certain ads can have an option to ‘Mute This Ad‘ while scanning the Web.

Feel free to block any ads that we use on our website. We do our best to monitor the ads on this site, and tailor it to our users.

Jon Krafcik, Group Product Manager, Data Privacy and Transparency has provided background on this new user function.

“In your Ad Settings, you can turn ads personalization on or off at any time. Now you can see information about reminder ads and control which advertisers can show you these ads.” – Jon Krafcik, Group Product Manager, Data Privacy and Transparency
