More Than a Dozen People Are Still Missing

The devastation in Southern California following a recent surge in flash flooding and mudslides has taken 17 lives, and destroyed over 100 houses.

Montecito, California is the area that has been hit the hardest by the recent storms. Residents are still trying to piece together their lives, while over a dozen people are still missing.

The heartbreaking stories of those that have lost loved ones is overwhelmingly painful. The men and women working to save residents in Montecito are true heroes.

Currently the Coast Guard and National Guard are working to find residents as fast as possible, but the conditions in the area are troublesome.
