The Vive Pro Offers 78 Percent More in Pixel Resolution

The virtual reality market continues to expand with new products being featured at CES 2018.

HTC Vive did a demo on the opening day at CES to showcase their latest product known as the Vive Pro. This model has increased the pixel resolution to 2880 by 1600 pixels.

The company has also upgraded the audio experience with the Vive Pro to provide additional functionality to the headphones and audio controls.

HTC Vive has noted that this product will help decrease on motion sickness that can occur when using virtual reality. They have not provided a price on the Vive Pro, as well as a release date. Consumers will have to wait to get their hands on this product.

Virtual reality companies are hoping to expand their product line to meet the needs of emerging fields of technology such as healthcare and professional sports.
