The Sam Bush Incident Kicks Off Night One at the 1st Bank Center
On Friday, December 28 the String Cheese Incident performed the first night of their NYE run in Broomfield, Colorado.
The band started off their first set with ‘Can’t Wait Another Day’ with the core members on stage. After that first song, Sam Bush and Darol Anger came out to perform for almost the entire first set.
Each of the three nights will provide a unique theme. On Friday evening, a bluegrass vibe from Telluride, Colorado filled the venue. On Saturday, a group of New Orleans musicians will guest perform, as well as Robert Randolph will be tearing it up on stage.
For their NYE performance, the String Cheese Incident will on stage for three sets of live music.
This marks my second time being able to cover SCI for their NYE run. In 2016, the band had a circus of dancers take over the floor during the last moments of the year. I’m excited to see what they have in store this year for New Year’s Eve.
