Global phenomenon Marc Rebillet, better known as “Loop Daddy,” is making a major move with the release of his first-ever studio single, “Vibes Alright.” This track marks a departure from his signature style of live-streamed improvised music and signifies a pivot towards studio production.
“Vibes Alright” arrives amidst Rebillet’s wildly popular “We Outside” tour, which is currently crisscrossing the U.K. and E.U. The single is a collaborative effort, featuring production and writing credits from Jacob Portrait (Lil Yachty, Alex G,Unknown Mortal Orchestra). Additionally, the track boasts Grammy-winning mixing by Manny Marroquin (Bruno Mars,The Rolling Stones, Alicia Keys) and mastering by the legendary Randy Merrill (Blink-182, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry,Maroon 5).
Marc captured the hearts and minds of millions during the past few years. He is like a magnet that attracts people online and in person.
This new single represents a fresh approach for Rebillet. While his usual method involves crafting music live using looped samples, “Vibes Alright” originated from a live improvisation with a drummer on an analog 8-track recorder.
“The only way to push Marc creatively was to bring my 8-track and a drummer to the studio. Marc is a master at capturing the universal vibe, but with this track, we wanted to explore what’s brewing in his head when the livestream isn’t on.” – Jacob Portrait
Following the European leg of the “We Outside” Tour, Rebillet will bring the energy to North America this fall. The tour includes four sold-out nights at New York’s iconic Blue Note Jazz Club, along with stops in Los Angeles, Atlanta,Washington D.C., Chicago, Toronto, and more.
