We did a preview article similar to this for the Bonnaroo Music Festival and was way off with predictions. If Bonnaroo returns in 2019 with a New Orleans Jazz Festival inspired lineup, the response on social media will be far more positive in my view. That being said Jazz Fest is owned and operated by The Jazz & Heritage Foundation.
‘In 1970, the Foundation was set up to be the nonprofit owner of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival – Jazz Fest – with a mission to sow the seeds of our unique culture for generations to come.’
Advance tickets for single-day attendees will be announced soon. (In 2017, adult tickets at the gate were $80.) Tickets for children have traditionally been $5 (available at the gate only, ages 2-10).
Connect with the festival on social media, and watch over highlights from the 2017 event on YouTube.
