Kendrick Lamar, Chuck Loeb, The Defiant Ones and More Pick Up GRAMMYs
The GRAMMY Awards are already announcing winners for the ceremony today.
We recently did a prediction article going through the acts we find to be the best overall. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in the voting for the electronic music categories.
The Best Dance Recording went to ‘Tonite’ by LCD Soundsystem. No offense to this group, but they haven’t been relevant in a decade. In my view, this win could be tied to their connection to Colombia Records.
The GRAMMYs and other major award ceremonies have limited independent artists over the years. In addition, the Recording Academy also seems to favor male musicians over females. As an unbiased reporter, I just state my view on the event.
Twitter is now streaming live from the Red Carpet.
