Cage the Elephant is going to release a new album titled Unpeeled on July 28 via RCA Records. The band stripped down to an acoustic format for a recent performance at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, as well as within venues in Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Knoxville. LouFest 2017 has released their daily lineup and daily tickets for the upcoming event to take place in St. Louis, Missouri in Forest Park on September 9 & 10. On Saturday Snoop Dogg and Cage the Elephant will headline, and on Sunday Weezer and Run the Jewels will perform live on stage. Cage the Elephant is heading into new territory with an upcoming acoustic tour. The group has delivered high energy rock performances for several years, but this will mark their first time touring with acoustic music. The band picked up a big win at the GRAMMYS for Best Rock Album. Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys helped produced Tell Me I'm Pretty.
