BottleRock Napa Valley 2017 Hosts Tom Petty, Macklemore, Foo Fighters
BottleRock Napa Valley 2017 has announced their lineup featuring: The Foo Fighters, Maroon 5 and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers headlining the festival. Additional acts include: Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Modest Mouse, Ben Harper, The Roots, Silversun Pickups, Band of Horses, Fitz & The Tantrums, Dirty Heads, Live (band), The Naked And Famous, The Devil Makes Three, and Michael Franti and Spearhead will be performing in the historic hills of Napa Valley from May 26-28. The Coachella 2017 Lineup Presents: Radiohead, Justice, Lorde and +140 Artists
Coachella 2017 has just released their lineup with Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar and Beyoncé headlining the event. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will be once again held at the Empire Polo Club. The dates for the first weekend will be April 14-16 and the second weekend will be on April 21-23. Tickets for the event go on sale Wednesday, January 4 at 11:00 a.m. PST. Artists set for Coachella 2017 include: Lorde, Justice, Future, Justice, ScHoolboy Q, Big Gigantic, Phantogram, Empire of the Sun, New Order, Bon Iver, DJ Snake, and Future Islands are on the lineup. Summer Camp Music Festival Hosts Trey, Claypool and Run the Jewels
The Summer Camp Music Festival has just announced their first round of artists for the 2017 event taking place on May 26-28 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois. Debut performances in the first round include: Run the Jewels, Mike Gordon, the Claypool Lennon Delirium, Eric Krasno Band, Ganja White Night and many others. The Bonnaroo Music Festival is releasing their 2017 RooClues on social media. So far, the festival has indirectly announced two bands that will be on the bill. Victor Wooten Trio Adds Tour Dates to 2017
The Victor Wooten Trio, made up of Victor Wooten on bass, sax player Bob Franceschini and drummer Dennis Chambers, will set out on a winter/spring tour in early 2017. The tour will open up with a six night residency at The Blue Note in New York City from January 17 - 22. A special two night, two show run will take place in Minneapolis on March 9 & 10. Sundance Film Festival 2017 Adds Long Strange Trip, Reservoir Dogs
The Sundance Film Festival has recently announced four additional films set to screen for the 2017 event in Utah from January 19-29. Sundance announced the following films to debut: Bending the Arc and Long Strange Trip. Two from the vault include: Desert Hearts and Reservoir Dogs. Out of these four projects, Reservoir Dogs, is one film I don't find necessary screening at Sundance.
