The Unemployment Rate in Southern Illinois Averages at 6.4 and the U.S. National Average is at 4.7
A recent report by Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana shows a trend that focuses on how automative jobs may be increasing the unemployment rate. Currently, I live in Southern Illinois and found similarities between their data and trends that is also taking place in my area. The YouTube video below by the vlogbrothers does an excellent job of breaking down employment data for the United States. Let me start with two facts about the largest employers in the United States: The U.S. Department of Defense has been named the largest employer in the world with 3.2 million. Wal-Mart is the largest company
