[av_heading heading='Brian Knappenberger Captures the Spirit of Aaron Swartz' tag='h2' style='blockquote modern-quote' size='' subheading_active='subheading_below' subheading_size='15' padding='10' color='' custom_font=''] Written by: Matthew McGuire [/av_heading] Aaron Swartz, once a computer programmer for Reddit, advocate and developer for Creative Commons, as well as a political activist has passed away in 2013, but his memory lives on. Brian Knappenberger directs and writes a story about his life as a computer scientist. As a media producer on the Web, I find myself experiencing a lot of the same obstacles that Swartz does in this film. It gives incredible insight on how information is stored, distributed and protected.
