Fool’s Paradise 2017 Solidifies as a Gem Among Music Festivals with Lettuce, The Main Squeeze
St. Augustine is known for being the nation’s oldest city, having been founded by the Spanish in 1565, but is quickly gaining a reputation for having one of the funkiest festivals around. Lettuce and company hosted the 2nd annual Fool’s Paradise this past weekend in the historic town of St. Augustine. Last year the festival proved to be a welcoming place for funky collaborations, tons of dancing and getting to meet lots of artists; this year was all that and more. Fool’s Paradise Hosts Collaborative Live Sets with Lettuce, Dumpstaphunk, Break Science
Fool's Paradise is taking place next weekend on March 31 and April 1. This two-day music event will be held at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Lettuce and company will return to Florida to capture the energy and magic circulating the Southeast in early April. One of the unique elements to Fool's Paradise is the attention to detail with the lineup. Guests seek out and look for cross-pollinating performances to experience in unique venues. Fool's Paradise collects the top artists, and has them perform together on stage. This year the festival will feature special late night performances and jam sessions featuring Manic Focus
Fool’s Paradise Adds The Motet and Vulfpeck’s Lead Vocalist Antwaun Stanley
The festival organizers with Fool's Paradise have announced additional performers and their late night sets for their 2017 event in St. Augustine, Florida. This year the festival will host late night sets with a mix of live performances. On March 31, Jaw Gems is set to perform, as well as the Eric Krasno Band, and the “Infinity Jam” hosted by Eric Krasno and Oteil Burbridge. On April Fool's Day the funk will be center stage for the late night sets on Saturday. Dumpstaphunk and the “Fools For Funk” featuring members of Lettuce, Dumpstaphunk, and more will takeover on April 1. The

The Soul Revue Stirs it Up at Fools Paradise The Chris Robinson Brotherhood will be heading on tour this year with a new bassist after five years with Mark “Muddy” Dutton. The band shared thoughts on Dutton moving forward. "It has been a great adventure. I wish my brothers a long and beautiful journey, as I leave with pride and fond memories," says Dutton. "I’m looking forward to the rise of The CRB as they continue to bring the old world to the new." Robinson adds: "It's been a great 5 years. We wish Muddy all the best in his future."
