Spotlight, Midnight, Centerpiece and Special Screening at Tribeca Tribeca Film Festival has announced the second half of their feature films, as well as their short film projects set to debut this April 13-24. This year, within the Opening Film category, Tribeca will feature Holidays. In the Virtual Arcade, the festival is exhibiting Holidays: Christmas VR, which is tied to Christmas, a part of the Holidays anthology feature. A long list of feature film projects have been selected to screen at the festival this year. Oscar-winning director, Roger Ross Williams will present Life, Animated. A story about an autistic child learning to cope with life. The depth of the lineup showcases narrative films, such as, Geezer by Lee Kirk. Billie Joe Armstrong, (Green Day vocalist, guitarist) is the main character in the story, and will be performing after the screening. There will be hard-hitting documentaries at Tribeca 2016. The Banksy Job, written and directed by Ian Roderick Gray & Dylan Harvey will illustrate the life behind the artist known as Banksy. One of my most anticipated short films is Gift of Gab. This short by Michael Jacobs shows the rebirth of the Gift of Gab and Blackalicious. The self-help industry is worth $11 billion dollars a year; it captivates those seeking happiness, release from suffering, and those longing for a path and a leader to follow. James Arthur Ray, for many, was that sort of leader. But when a sweat lodge ceremony goes horribly wrong, we learn from Ray and some of his followers that their spiritual path was fraught with danger and perhaps even greater suffering.
