The Sundance Institute hosted their fifth annual NEXT FEST event in downtown Los Angeles at the Ace Hotel from August 10-13. Film producers, musicians, comedians, and creative minds gathered together to share their latest forms of art with the Southern California audience. Sony Music plans to Relaunch Distribution with Vinyl Records

The era of vinyl records continues to make a comeback with Sony Music resuming production from a distribution center in Japan. They plan to relaunch vinyl production in March 2018. The Sundance Institute recently announced the lineup of entertainment scheduled for NEXT FEST 2017. This year marks the fifth annual festival in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. It will take place August 10-13 at The Theatre at Ace Hotel. Indie film and music will crossover during this creative three-day event. Record Store Day and Earth Day have collectively made Saturday, April 22 one of the best days of the year. In 2008, a small list of titles was released on Record Store Day and that list has grown to include artists and labels both large and small, in every genre and price point.
