Record Store Day 2017 Preview with Moe., Prince, Busta Rhymes, Iron and Wine
Record Store Day 2017 announced the titles that will be released exclusively through independent record stores across the globe on Saturday, April 22. Each year, musicians connect with their record companies to release a series of exclusive vinyl records for a one day release. Indie record stores experience long lines, and large demand for the rarity behind the content. Prince is set to release six pieces of vinyl for RSD 2017. The Zombies have two new titles coming out. Run the Jewels Release RTJ3 on YouTube, Spotify, Google Play
Run the Jewels recently dropped RTJ3 online with physical copies hitting stores on January 13. The hiphop heavyweights teamed up with IFC to connect fans with the new music early. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5Da2ISBiEw The video showcases the entertainment value behind Run the Jewels. SXSW Music Festival 2017 First Round Artist Preview
SXSW recently announced their first round of musical acts for the 2017 event taking place March 14-19. Musicians from various parts of the globe will travel to Austin, Texas to showcase their material for a diehard concert going audience. This year the festival has announced over 150 bands from over 20 different countries within their first round of artists. Hangout Music Festival 2016 BMI Artists Featuring The Revivalists, Strangers You Know
Brett Dennen, KOA, Lazyboy Empire Set to Go Live at Hangout Fest The Hangout Music Festival has announced the bands set to perform on the BMI Stage in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This annual festival will be May 20-22, in addition to a Pre-Party on Thursday. Hangout Fest has noted the BMI artists including: Brett Dennen, The Revivalists, Strangers You Know, Pell, Muddy Magnolias, Lazyboy Empire, Half Moon Run, Bully, Powers, and KOA.
