Purple Rain Deluxe by Prince on Warner Bros. Records set for Release on June 23
NPG Records and Warner Bros. Records have recently announced the 2017 release of Prince's Purple Rain Deluxe and the Deluxe - Expanded Edition formats on June 23, 2017. These releases will provide a large selection of never-before-released material. Warner Bros. Records shared: 'The two-CD Purple Rain Deluxe set includes the official 2015 Paisley Park Remaster of the original tapes from the soundtrack, presenting an unheard vision of the album overseen by Prince himself. Record Store Day 2017 announced the titles that will be released exclusively through independent record stores across the globe on Saturday, April 22. Each year, musicians connect with their record companies to release a series of exclusive vinyl records for a one day release. Indie record stores experience long lines, and large demand for the rarity behind the content. Prince is set to release six pieces of vinyl for RSD 2017. The Zombies have two new titles coming out.
