If Tesla Motors were a politician, it would be Bernie Sanders, and the other electric cars would be the Hillary Clinton in a metaphorical sense. The parallel I see is that even if Tesla doesn't make it long-term as a car company, it has still shifted the attention to a more progressive mindset, and for that I am thankful for Bernie Sanders and Tesla Motors.
