Summer Camp Music Festival Adds Over 60 Live Acts to the 2018 Lineup Organizers with the 18th Annual Summer Camp Music Festival have recently announced their third wave of artists for the 2018 event taking place May 25-27 in Chillicothe, Illinois. Moe. and Umphrey's McGee will return to north-central Illinois for four days of live music on Memorial Day Weekend. The lineup currently provides guests over 150 acts to check out. Victor Wooten, Dennis Chambers, and Bob Franceschini will be releasing a new album titled TRYPNOTYX on September 8. The trio will be performing the new music in venues across the United States. They are set to kick off the tour in Seattle August 28 - September 1 at Jazz Alley. Currently, Wooten is touring with Béla Fleck and the Flecktons across the country. Béla Fleck is working at a fever pitch this year with releasing a new record, Juno Concerto, as well as scheduling tour dates with The Flecktones. The band Béla Fleck and The Flecktones have won multiple GRAMMY awards during their career. They redefined the genre of bluegrass in the '90s, and continue to break new ground on and off stage. Victor Wooten Trio Adds Tour Dates to 2017
The Victor Wooten Trio, made up of Victor Wooten on bass, sax player Bob Franceschini and drummer Dennis Chambers, will set out on a winter/spring tour in early 2017. The tour will open up with a six night residency at The Blue Note in New York City from January 17 - 22. A special two night, two show run will take place in Minneapolis on March 9 & 10.
