Hulaween Artist Spotlight | String Cheese Incident

Written by: Matthew McGuire

The String Cheese Incident will host three nights and seven sets of music this Halloween Weekend at the 2nd Annual Hulaween event in Live Oak, Florida. Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions have teamed up to provide a huge weekend for the southeast.

Keith Moseley, bassist for The String Cheese Incident, went back through all the over-the-top moments of Hulaween 2013 to select one of his most memorable instant from 2013.

“We had a blast last year at Suwannee.  I think there is something really special brewing down there that we hope to do for years to come.  The vibe was great and the collaborations we had with the Anitbalas horns and the two guest singers were some of our musical highlights of 2013.  The same guests are returning but we are going to experiment with some new songs.  We hope to top last year’s extravaganza!”

The String Cheese Incident has been on fire this past year. Each of their festival performances has been thought out and well constructed. Recently, we also talked with Kung Fu, featured Hulaween artist, about what goes into a good concert. String Cheese will be hosting a special set titled “The Afterlife” setup for Halloween night. It was be filled with tricks, treats and funky grooves to keep guests dancing later into the early morning hours.
