Lettuce is a collection of talented musicians based in the New York area. The band is set to debut at the 2016 Bonnaroo Music Festival this upcoming June.
Lettuce has recently released their fourth studio album Crush, (preview it below on Soundcloud.)
The band features: drummer Adam Deitch, guitarists Adam Smirnoff and Eric Krasno, bassist Erick “Jesus” Coomes, keyboardist Neal Evans, saxophonist Ryan Zoidis, and trumpet players Eric Bloom and Rashawn Ross.
Bonnaroo veterans will remember the robust performances with Soulive in the past. Jazz/funk music fans can enjoy the additional instruments and live experimentation in Lettuce compared to Soulive.
The entire group is comprised with aggressive musicians. Adam Deitch, drummer for Lettuce, stays busy with an assortment of side projects, as well as full time projects. He has rocked the late night Bonnaroo stage before, and I am looking forward to a potential Lettuce late night set.
The members of Lettuce could also be seen in the Bonnaroo Superjam as well. The band Lettuce is collectively a superjam itself. When you add additional layers with their sound, it should be highly entertaining. When Lettuce performs a standard set, it feels like a larger than normal set of live music. Their Bonnaroo debut performance will be memorable.
In addition, the band is playing shows across the United States, and have started to release their 2016 festival dates.
