This year NYE 2016 was filled with excitement and live entertainment. Around the globe people celebrated the new year in different ways. In London, they set off a world renown firework show, as well as in other developed countries. In the United States, we setoff fireworks, but recently there has been a new tradition around New Year’s Eve to experience a live music event on the holiday.

Lotus rolled into 2016 in Pittsburgh at Stage AE. The String Cheese Incident rang in the new year in Denver, Dead & Company went big in San Francisco/Los Angeles, Widespread Panic performed multiple nights on their home turf of Atlanta, Pretty Lights in Vegas, and Phish returned as kings of NYE for three nights at Madison Square Garden.
