3D Viewing Environments Coming Soon to a Headset Near You

Hulu announced recently that they plan to expand their 3D functionality with Oculus products.

The online entertainment company has noted that Hulu VR will add social features for Oculus headset users.


These social features will include creating and customizing an avatar that will represent you in virtual settings. When watching film and television via the Oculus headset, users will be able to interact with friends and family in different parts of the world.

Currently, Hulu offers 3D viewing environments for the Sony PlayStation VR, Google Daydream, Oculus Rift, and Samsung GearVR with Galaxy S6, S7, Note 5 Phones.

The social features will roll out on the Oculus first, and the other companies to produce headsets will follow.
