ARISE Music Festival has released its final lineup, rounding out their eclectic mix of artists with long-time funk legends Lettuce and future funk engineers Sunsquabi.

The days are growing longer, the grass is getting greener, and the snow is beginning to melt off the mountains. Summer is a short season here in Colorado. That means it is time to start firming up plans for the blissful months of warmth ahead. Summer in the Rockies is a magical time, and I’m here to tell you why ARISE is the perfect festival to make your Colorado summer legendary.

The Sunrise Ranch

When it comes to hosting a truly memorable summer festival, location counts. The Sunrise Ranch is nestled in the Eden Valley between the foothills of the Rockies and the Front Range just 34 miles north of Boulder. The ranch is different than any other festival ground, because it is also a full-time spiritual retreat. Being present in a location like The Sunrise Ranch, surrounded by the people of Arise, and equipped with an open heart and open mind, one is sure to be impacted by the positivity of this special place.

Art

Arise Music Festival is a place where we can come to nourish our creative side and immerse ourselves in art. Live painters convene around the stages to create art that is inspired by the music, the space, and the energy of all of us attending Arise. In addition to live painters, a gallery on site will feature work by visionary artists from across the country. Festival goers are also able to enjoy immense art installations created from reclaimed materials. Also, Android Jones, world-renowned artist earning a headlining spot on the lineup, will be creating one of a kind visuals for Tipper’s set and other musical performances.

Yoga

Yoga, set at the pristine Sunrise Ranch, gives us the opportunity to rejuvenate our mind, body, and spirit. Festival attendees will be able to participate in classes and meditation sessions led by acclaimed members of the yoga community. Arise’s featured instructor, Shiva Rea, is a master yogi and the founder of the prana vinyasa practice. For those interested in elevating themselves both figuratively and in a literal sense, Fractal Tribe will be offering workshops in aerial yoga.

Music

Arise boasts the most stacked and musically diverse lineup of any Colorado festival. Beats Antique bends the line between fantasy and reality with their use of performance artists, costumes, and larger than life props. Ani Difranco and Rising Appalachia deliver folk music with the important message to be true to ourselves, others, and our planet earth. Atmosphere brings conscious hip hop and diabolical beats to the stage. Tipper, paired with the art of Android Jones, takes spectators on an unpredictable and indescribable journey through electronica. Lettuce brings the funky dance party to the mountains. With such a wide range of incredible musicians performing, there is certainly something everyone can enjoy.

Arise is more than just a music festival, it’s a warm and diverse community of music lovers, artists, free thinkers, and warriors for the environment.
