A lot of sunshine is on tap this weekend in St. Louis for the 2017 LouFest Music Festival.
The festival has made a slight shift to the location with the stage area now being stationed away Central Fields, and moved to the Upper Muny Grounds. I am looking forward to celebrating LouFest once again this year in Forest Park, but in a new section of downtown St. Louis.
Another addition this year is the all-star live set of music honoring the music history of Chuck Berry. Musicians set to perform include: Captain Kirk Douglas (The Roots), Rashawn Ross (Dave Matthews Band), Britt Daniel (Spoon), Matt Shultz and Nick Bockrath (Cage the Elephant) , Eric Krasno (Soulive, Lettuce), Pokey Lafarge and more.

LouFest Music Festival will host a pre-party on Friday evening at Off Broadway featuring Dressy Bessy, with Cotton Mather and Middle Class Fashion.
Music Record Shop will be providing an area for artist signing, and a selection of vinyl records.
In addition to the music, LouFest will also be hosting a wide variety of culinary treats from the St. Louis area.
Tickets are still available via the festival’s main website. Single day and two day passes are still available.
