The New Orleans Jazz Festival provides one of the best festival atmospheres within the United States. Their attention to detail on this lineup is a reflection of the quality they provide on grounds.

In addition to the live music, trying out and tasting some of the New Orleans cuisine is a major part of the experience at Jazz Fest. They offered the following dishes in 2017:

  • Cajun Jambalaya
  • Hot Sausage Po-Boy, Crawfish Sausage Po-Boy, Italian Chicken Sausage Po-Boy
  • Alligator Pie, Crabmeat Stuffed Shrimp,
    *Fried Green Tomatoes
  • Boiled Crawfish, Louisiana Crawfish Etouffeé,
Cajun Crawfish Rice; Spicy Boiled Potatoes
  • Cajun Duck Po-Boy, Cajun Shrimp & Duck Pasta

My suggestion with the food is to watch it being cooked, and grab a hot plate.
