California, New York, Florida and Texas host the most Charging Stations in the United States
Tesla Motors continues to add new charging stations across the world to help refuel Tesla vehicles with cleaner energy.
Tesla Motors has over 2,200 destination charging stations, with examples of these stations setup at hotels, ski resorts, Airbnb listings, and additional locations. They tend to only have one or two charging stations. Also, these tend to to be connected with lodging at hotels.
The company also provides Supercharger stations with a mix of public and patron charging. These locations tend to have 4-6 charging spots for different vehicles. Earlier this year, we reported that Tesla had 795 Supercharger stations opened. Almost six months later, there is now close to 860 stations opened across the globe.
Recently, Steve Wozniak shared his point of view on emerging technology, as well as automotive technology with Bloomberg.
Wozniak goes over the Tesla Model S, and branches off to future trends coming up for the company.
Elon Musk announced recently that Tesla will be releasing an Autopilot software release in June. In connection to the Autopilot software, Fortune recently published an article covering the automated feature around people on bikes. I strongly suggest turning off the Autopilot feature around busy sections of traffic.
The Model 3 is set to start production this year, and the company has noted that shipment of the vehicles will start in the middle of 2018.
Excited about the Tesla Autopilot software release rolling out next month. New control algorithm feels as smooth as silk.
