SunFest 2017 Lineup Featuring Macklemore, Snoop Dogg, Weezer in West Palm Beach
SunFest 2017 is set to host multiple days of live music in West Palm Beach, Florida. The event is scheduled to take place May 3-7 on the downtown beachfront property. Music acts that are booked to perform include: Snoop Dogg, Weezer, Widespread Panic, Blink 182, Marshmello, Fetty Wap, the Dirty Heads and 50 bands on three stages. https://youtu.be/yL-w1bzV9a0 On Thursday, March 9 the festival will partner with the Bowery Palm Beach to host a battle of the bands competition. The festival organizers with Fool's Paradise have announced additional performers and their late night sets for their 2017 event in St. Augustine, Florida. This year the festival will host late night sets with a mix of live performances. On March 31, Jaw Gems is set to perform, as well as the Eric Krasno Band, and the “Infinity Jam” hosted by Eric Krasno and Oteil Burbridge. On April Fool's Day the funk will be center stage for the late night sets on Saturday. ALO released Love Songs EP last week on Brushfire Records. The four song record showcases some of the best love ballads in music history. The Animal Liberation Orchestra takes listeners on a annual ride through the depths of love with Tour d’Amour. Each year the California rockers take a special tour up the coast to intimate venues across the southwest. This year, the band put together an EP featuring new material that serves as excellent home entertainment, as well as be entertaining to see how the band showcases some of the songs on the road in a live setting. The Sundance Film Festival has recently announced four additional films set to screen for the 2017 event in Utah from January 19-29. Sundance announced the following films to debut: Bending the Arc and Long Strange Trip. Two from the vault include: Desert Hearts and Reservoir Dogs. Out of these four projects, Reservoir Dogs, is one film I don't find necessary screening at Sundance. With the amount of anti-gun films set to debut this year, it is my personal view that screening that violent film is in bad taste.
