The social media response is the same as the past two years with diehard alumni taking verbal jabs at the lineup. After covering the event from 2013-2016, I can say that the lineup undercard does lack name recognition. The 2017 Hangout Music Festival has officially sold out of tickets via their box office, but weekend passes are still available to purchase. StubHub has one of the largest markets for reselling tickets. I do not support reselling tickets, but in this case, the tickets are close to the same value that they were being sold via the main box office. The film Weekend at Bernie's was released in 1983, and some of the people reading this article were probably not old enough to watch the film to get that first joke, but for those that had cable in the '80s, it was one of the only films on television. The Hangout Music Festival announced their daily lineup yesterday. This year the festival will host over 90 live acts over 4 days in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Florence + The Machine closed down the Hangout Stage in grand fashion. Her set started early at 9:25 p.m. After four days of intense music, the festival celebrated their seventh year with fireworks and historic music on stage.
