III Points have recently added artists and released their single day lineup for their 2017 event taking place in Miami on October 13 - 15. The festival will be hosting live performances featuring: The xx, Gorillaz, Nicolas Jaar, Mark Ronson vs Kevin Parker (Tame Impala), Richie Hawtin CLOSE, The Ship: an audio installation by Brian Eno, Perfume Genius, Bonobo (LIVE), Kaytranada, Skepta, Arca & Jesse Kanda, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Danny Brown and many more top tier musical acts. The xx, Gorillaz and Richie Hawtin are set to headline the III Points festival in Miami. The xx will make a stop on their international tour with sold out shows in New York and London. Hawtin will perform his new audiovisual show CLOSE — Spontaneity & Synchronicity. In addition, the Gorillaz will be making their only stop in Florida on their world tour at III Points in October. III Points celebrated their fourth-annual music, art & technology festival in Miami this past October 7-9. Hurricane Matthew moved across the coast of Florida on Friday, October 7. The storm created serious problems for the LCD Soundsystem road crew. The band was unable to safely transport their gear to Miami during Hurricane Matthew. III Points did note that the band would be unable to perform, but it gave a chance for Vince Staples to step up to a headlining position. III Points Festival to Exhibit an Outer Space VR Experience
III Points Music, Art, & Technology Festival is fueling their interactive lineup with an intergalactic virtual reality experience on Mars in 2030. FUSION worked with NASA to create this VR project. They will be also screening their Mars 2030 documentary throughout the entirety of the III Points Festival, and providing educational insight of NASA’s mission to Mars. III Points Festival recently announced new additions to its lineup for the 4th annual III Points Music, Art & Technology Festival featuring:Vince Staples, Bedouin, David Marston and dozens of live acts. Pervious announced acts include: LCD Soundsystem, M83, Thievery Corporation, Method Man and Redman, Flying Lotus (DJ set), Dixon, and Machinedrum.
